Beirut Art Film Festival is back in 2017 with new documentaries on art, more screenings and a greater access to all categories of public in Lebanon. Over a period extending three full weeks, BAFF will present a fine selection of 50 films on architecture, archeology, cinema, dance, design, history of art, museums, music, opera, visual arts…

For its third edition, BAFF is honored to welcome three towering cultural institutions as “BAFF Cultural Partners”:

  • Institut de Monde Arabe, Paris,
  • Institut des Cultures Arabes et Méditerranéennes, Geneva,
  • Institut Français, Lebanon.

Together, with BAFF patrons, sponsors and partners, we were able, in record time, to make of this vibrant event a rendez-vous of Beirut’s cultural life.

Every autumn people from all walks of life come together to enjoy and testify.

The simple fact of coming together is a celebration to beauty, a statement of freedom, and a demonstration of conviviality in peace.

The small team of BAFF is all in the same time proud by the accomplishment, because we realize and we believe that we owe it all to the Lebanese public, who made all this possible!
